On the afternoon of July 5th, National Cartoon Films Colloquium was held in Beijing. On the colloquium, executive director of Chinese Film Producer Association, Ming Zhenjiang declared the name of its first members and handed out certificates. This time there were 14 new members, and Ori Animation was the only one from Jiangsu that joined the association. Representative from Ori received the certificate. Chinese Film Producer Association was founded in May 1989 and joined in International Producer Association in 1993. In 2006 it was recommended the vice chairman institution of International Film Producer Association with a successive session of two. Now it owns 138 group members. It is the tie and bridge that links both Chinese government and National Film Producer Group, and provides a platform for Chinese film producers to get close to film market and the public. It is the service carrier and transaction platform for domestic films to enter into market. This time as the first enterprise member, Ori has made significant achievement on cartoon films which has won approval from the authority. After being a member, Ori will carry out more external communication to promote Chinese films with the help of the platform offered by the association. Meanwhile Ori will have a better idea of its responsibility and explore new fields for domestic cartoon films. It is Ori's pleasure to join in the association and at the same time it helps Ori to have a clear idea of its development and undertake its responsibility to domestic cartoon films.

The first series of family picture books, Happy Pet Store was published in late April and in one month they drew warm attention from the market. By now the total sales volume has exceeded one third of the printed ones. The publication led a pet fever in the book stores nationwide. Happy Pet Store is targeted at kids of 6-12 and their parents. According to the marker feedback, most buyers were young parents. Their choice greatly promoted the increase of the sales volume. Many buyers said the reason why they chose to buy laid in the nice drawing design and exact capture of psychology between mothers and daughters. Meanwhile the funny and humorous fairy tales became the prior factor, too. They expressed they had deep thinking towards the communication between parents and kids. They said they need to stay with kids more to get closer with each other. Some parents said they would read with kids to feel the warmth brought out by the pet store. It is known that the whole series contains 10 volumes and all are produced by Ori Animation. They are published by Northern Women and Children Press from Jilin Publication Group. Meanwhile 2-D TV cartoon Happy Pet Store is under busy production, and it has been listed in the Best Pitch and catch Prize by China Animation Association. By the end of this year it will be shown on TV screen. Many readers have paid deep interest in the series and look forward to get in closer touch with the pets.

At present the official website of State Administration of Press，Publication，Radio, Film and Television announced the results for the selection of Excellent children's and National Animation Development Fund of 2012. Fantastic Vacation on Douya Farm, produced by Ori Animation, received the third prize of the Excellent National Original Cartoon Prize.

Recently heard from Jiangsu Provincial Radio, Film and Television Bureau, 40-episode 3-D TV cartoon Fantastic Vacation on Douya Farm won the second prize of Jiangsu TV Art Prize for Animation Programs in the Year of 2012 to 2013. The animation project tells pupil NI Xiangxiang unites with animals on the farm to beat the malicious merchant Shi Laiyun. It passes on the theme of staying with the nature in harmony. Fantastic Vacation on Douya Farm is the forth 3-D TV cartoon of Ori Animation, and it received distribution permit in June, 2012. It was recommended as the third batch of excellent domestic animation by the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television in 2012, and was shortlisted in the forth Golden Cow Excellent Cartoon Prize at China Western Animation Culture Festival in 2012.

Happy Pet Store, a set of picture books which is targeted at both parents and kids is to be published in this May. It is designed by Ori Animation and will be published by North China Women & Children Publishing House from Jilin Press Group. And the books will be sold at Xinhua Book Store nationwide, online bookstores and some private-owned book stores. This set of picture books is adapted from Ori's 2-D TV cartoon Happy Pet Store, and books will be presented before the cartoon version shown on TV. The first set includes ten fascicles, whose contents are chosen from dramatic stories in the TV cartoon. The books show a different pet store in the form of picture books. Happy Pet Store is quite suited for parents and kids to read together. Sleepy and naughty koala Dalton, simple-minded but kind penguin Buffet, active and curious Dutch bunny Luke, changeable chipmunk Darleen, elegant and tender Siam cat Qiqi and lonely dwarf bunny Leman live together in the happy pet store. Although once in a while there will be disputes, they still are best friends. The pets exist in the bedtime stories told by fairy-tale writer Laurie to her daughter. At present Ori Animation has achieved strategic cooperation intention with North China Women & Children Publishing House from Jilin Press Group. As a key part in industrial management of Ori Animation, Ori Animation will publish more sets of picture books and promote excellent Chinese children's books to foreign countries.
