152015-05Ori Reached Associate Production Intent with Azerbaijan Film StudioIn the small hours of May 14th Beijing Time, the 68th Cannes International Film Festival began in a grand opening ceremony. All sorts of business negotiations were launched before the enthusiasm of the red carpet has faded away. During the film festival, Ori-animation reached an associate production intent with Azerbaijan National Film Studio to produce animation works together. The agreement will officially be signed in Azerbaijan this August. Azerbaijan is a key hub in the ancient “Silk Road” and also a strategic point of “One Belt And One Road”. 112015-04The Successful Conclusion of 2015 Animation International Cooperation Summit of CCDEAt 15:00 of April 10, the 2015 Animation International Cooperation Summit of CCDE was held in the 5A central stage of Suzhou International Expo Hall. The summit was hosted by Mr. Qian Feng, president of ORI ANIMATION. Mr. Vasiliy Rovensky, president of Rocket Releasing (Russia), Mr. Matthew Dennis McCombs, president of Spotlight Pictures (USA), Mr. Adil Kanakhin, president of Kanadil Limited (Kazakhstan), Mr.Vladimir Nikolaev, executive president of Wizart Animation (Russia), attended the summit as honored guests. The four honored guests gave their speeches respectively with the theme of the international cooperation of Chinese animation in the summit. Their unique views shared with the media and the audience sparked active discussion in the following Q&A section. The in-depth communication between the guests and the audience not only fostered a heated atmosphere, but further enhanced the theme of the summit as well. 2015 Animation International Cooperation Summit is the first international communication event of China• Suzhou International Animation Copyright Trading Center. The attended honored guests would be the first batch of international cooperation partners of the copyright trading center. ORI ANIMATION endeavors to build this summit to an influential summit within animation industry in Jiangsu Province, and even in China. 282014-11Ori Animation Attended Sino-Russian Cultural ForumThe second Sino-Russian Cultural Forum kicked off in Beijing on Nov 27. Mr. Ding Wei, Vice Minister of Culture of China, Vladimir Medinsky, Minister of Culture of Russia and representatives of cultural circles from both countries attended the opening ceremony of the three-day event. Co-organized by the Ministries of Culture of China and Russia, the forum focuses on five main themes, including "Cultural Life and Entrepreneurship of Youth", "Cultural Industry and Trade", "Cultural Exchange on National Boundaries", "Cultural Finance" and "Film Culture". About 50 experts, scholars and veteran professionals are invited to this forum to carry out discussion. Different from the first session of the Sino-Russian Cultural Forum, this year's event pays more attention to the younger generation in the two countries, with the aim to encourage communication and cooperation between Chinese and Russian young people in a variety of fields. Mr. Qian Feng, the President of ORI Animation delivered a speech in the Forum on 28th November, showing the current Sino-Russian cooperation in the animation field. 202014-11Ori Animation Attended Amrican Film MarketThe 5th November witnessed the opening of American Film Market (AFM). About 8,000 people attend the eight day event to network and to sell, finance and acquire films. Participants come from more than 70 countries and include acquisition and development executives, agents, attorneys, directors, distributors, festival directors, financiers, film commissioners, producers, writers, etc, and ORI animation is one of them. The American Film Market (AFM) is a film industry event held each year at the beginning of November in Santa Monica, California. Founded in 1981, the AFM quickly became one of the premier global marketplaces for the film business, where unlike a film festival, production and distribution deals are the main focus of the participants. More than 100 speakers from around the globe participate in the AFM Conference Series, Producers Forum, Roundtables and Industry Conversations with industry thought leaders and experts sharing their knowledge and insights with participants. Mr. Qian Feng, the President of ORI had in-depth face-to-face conversations with many attendees. 102014-10Co-production Agreement with RWS in RussiaOn 9th October, Ori Animation and Russian RWS signed animation co-production agreement in Chinese Culture Center in Moscow. Ms. Zhang Zhonghua, the Minister - Cultural Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Russia, director of Chinese Culture Centre in Moscow attended and addressed the ceremony. Mr. Vyacheslav Telnov, Head of the Cinema department of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and Mr. Sergey Sanakoev, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Russian-Chinese Centre of trade and economic cooperation, Secretary general of the Russian-Chinese Chamber of machine and technical trade facilitation and innovative products, attended and extended congratulations to the signing ceremony. Mr. Qian Feng, the president of Ori Animation and Mr. Yuri Sapronov, the president of RWS delivered speeches. According to co-production agreement, ORI and RWS will create scripts together based on Chinese, Russian culture and history and then sharing copyright profit based on investment percentage. ORI will undertake the film production in China. The cooperation, being the first animated film co-production between China and Russia, marks a further step in deepening cooperation of animation industry in two countries. This cooperation also witnesses the beginning of co-production between ORI and European enterprises. Before that, ORI and Saudi Broadcasting Corporation signed co-production agreement on animated TV series HAKIM, which is under production now. ORI will co-produce with more international partners in the near future, which enables Chinese culture spread to abroad. By that a growing number of overseas audiences will learn and accept Chinese culture, even loving Chinese culture.
