The 17th Beijing Screenings was held from September 2nd to September 5th, 2013 in Beijing. Founded in 1996, Beijing Screenings has been the only international film screening campaign which invites foreign customers to get-together and watch Chinese films in China. On September 3rd, the first campaign of Sino- Foreign Animation Film Co-production Forum was initiated by the organizing committee of Beijing Screenings. As a representative of the domestic producer, Ori Animation was invited to attend the forum. The forum this time was hosted by Zhang Xun, chief manager of China Film Co-production Corporation. La Peikang, Deputy Director-general of Film Bureau of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television attended the forum and delivered an official speech. Meanwhile on this forum, executives from seven famous film institutes home and abroad gave speeches and advice on the development of animation films and Sino-foreign cooperation. The content of how to conduct Sino-foreign animation cooperation and how to integrate the animation film culture home and abroad is specifically illuminative and significant for Ori's overseas development strategy. The Sino- Foreign Animation Film Co-production Forum was sponsored by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, and executed by the China Film Co-production Corporation. The forum discussed the development of Chinese and foreign animation films and existing problems in cooperation with the attempt to explore the Sino-foreign animation film co-production themes and operation mode in the internationalized trend and promote the all-round communication and cooperation of both Chinese and foreign animation films.

At present, the selection of listed films, one of the core preparation work of the 12th China International Children's Film Festival, was completed successfully. After three rounds of selection, 28 foreign films and 15 domestic films topped others and were listed in the competed and shown menu. Bunny Crisis from Ori Animation, an original 3D cartoon film was among the list and it is the only cartoon film from Jiangsu Province that entered into the final competed round. Bunny Crisis is Ori's second cartoon film, and meanwhile it is the first theatrical movie of the Euri yak series. It is clued by friendship and tells the adventure of Euri yak and his companions. The film applies the technique of 3D animation to release the evil and honesty of the society and to advocate the peace and justice. It has great significance in guiding and educating. This time the entrance of Bunny Crisis to the festival not only proves the appreciation and acceptance from mass audience and professional judgers, but shows their appraisal and encouragement to the production team of Ori. This time in the festival production team of Ori Animation will conducted deep communication and discussion with children's film counterparts home and abroad. It is known that Bunny Crisis has been accepted in the moving broadcasting series of digital program management center from the State Administration of Radio, Television and Film. Besides in August 2012, it has been listed in the first Jiangsu Radio & Film Government Award for cartoon films and won the Excellent Copyright Prize of Suzhou of 2012. Since its foundation Ori Animation has been devoted to building its animation brand of its own and it is pursuit of excellent animation style. The acceptance of the audience and the approval from professionals will pump Ori to move forward. Ori Animation will adhere to its belief and insist its original production for more excellent projects. Founded in 1989, the China International Children's Film Festival was an international festival approved by the State Council and it holds every two years. Kids will vote and choose their favorite children's films. The purpose of China International Children's Film Festival is to assist the communication and cooperation of children's films among China and the foreign countries.

On the afternoon of July 17th, summer vacation practice team of Peking University visited Ori Animation. The 20 visitors learned animation knowledge and communicated with Ori's technicians. With the introduction of Ori's staff, visitors walked into the inner production core to have a comprehensive understanding towards the procedure of animation production and animation practical technology. The fresh knowledge of animation drew their interest. With the communication visitors knew the development of animation industry and the employment of animation enterprises. Besides, visitors had a basic idea of Ori's development and achievement in the past seven years through the illustration of the blackboard. From Ori's first 3D cartoon film the Coins to the publication and distribution of Ori's first children's picture books, to 3D TV cartoon Buffet, Rabbit Lange and Wolf Tuge- Another Trial on Searching for Arcadia. Noticing the steady improvement of Ori's original works, both in quantity and quality, visitors expressed their confidence in domestic animation. This visit provided a close contact chance for students attending summer vacation practice to get in touch with animation enterprises, which offered a platform for them to know the situation of animation companies and Chinese animation industry, and helped to assist to promote Ori's culture as well. Their visit had helped more youths to know Chinese animation industry.

After half year's preparation and production, the teaser of original animated feature film Polar Adventure was completed in early July. It is the second theatrical version of TV cartoon Euri Yak, and it is the fourth original animated feature film by Ori Animation. It tells Euri Yak and Luke's adventure. They come to their friend Buffet's home town—the South Pole, but are suddenly attacked by human beings. Meanwhile Buffet's family members expel him… When the three are looking for the truth, Euri find the secret of human base. What challenge is waiting for them in the South Pole? All the results are in the film. 3D animation film technique is applied in the production of Polar Adventure. There is a real 3D South Pole ice and snow world in the movie, which is also a spot light of the movie. In the domestic cartoon colloquia on domestic cartoon films, teaser of Polar Adventure won praise from Ori's counterparts. They express their satisfaction towards the pilot that both its creation and quality are of the top class. It will be one of the representative projects of Ori Animation in Mipcom to lay a foundation for its overseas distribution. At the end of the conference, Mr. Qian Feng – President of Ori made a key speech on the title of Carrying Forward a development road with Ori characteristics, which was in retrospect of Ori's development in the past seven years and present situation, and he summarized and anticipated Ori's progression and future. On the afternoon of July 20th, the half-year working conference of Ori Animation was held in the theater successfully. All the staff attended the conference. The conference was held by vice president Zhao Yun and contained three parts, half-year reports of each departments, theme speeches on optimizing self-cultivation & building self-Image and general manager's half-year speech. In the first half of 2013, Ori Animation has made achievements in every aspect. As to production, excellent animation projects are carried out smoothly. 3D TV cartoon Buffet, Rabbit Lange and Wolf Tuge-Another Trial on Searching for Arcadia, 2D TV cartoon Happy Pet Store have been at the animation and post-production stage. The pilot of 3D cartoon film Pole Adventure was finished at the end of June. Besides the original projects have received powerful prizes, Fantastic Vacation on Douya Farm received third prize of Excellent National Original Animation of 2012, and second prize of Jiangsu TV Art Prize- Animation Projects of 2013 to 2013. In the distribution, traditional distribution and new media distribution have been carried out at the same time, and Ori has reached cooperative agreements with several platforms. As to mention, Ori's first children's picture books, Happy Pet Store, are published in early May, and a wave of enthusiasm for the pets has swept over book stores nationwide. Besides.
