On August 5,2025, Ori Group and MangoTV Global officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement at MangoTV’s headquarters in Changsha, marking a new step in bringing Chinese entertainment content to audiences in the Middle East. The agreement was signed by Wan Lin, General Manager of Mango International, and Qian Feng, Chairman of Ori Group, with senior executives from MangoTV and Ori Group also in attendance.
Three Strategic Cooperation Areas
Under the partnership, the two sides will focus on three key areas:
• Deepening Presence in the Middle East (GCC Focus) - Ori Group will serve as MangoTV Global’s priority partner in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, leveraging connections with local investment institutions, TV broadcasters, streaming platforms, tourism groups, and government resources to open pathways for the launch of MangoTV Global’s content and brand in the Middle East.
• On-the-Ground Project Delivery - Ori Group will provide end-to-end local execution services in the GCC for MangoTV Global’s projects, including variety shows, film and TV productions, large-scale cultural events, and brand promotion campaigns. This includes handling permits and approvals, securing venues, coordinating security, and managing media publicity, ensuring that each project not only goes global but also gains a strong foothold in the market.
• Joint Cultural Exchange and Co-Creation - The two companies will jointly develop cultural cooperation projects and branded events, promoting mutual exchange and learning across film, television, and tourism. These initiatives aim to bring the charm of Chinese storytelling to a broader Middle Eastern audience.
Building Trust, Expanding Global Reach
Apart from that, Chairman Qian Feng and his delegation from Ori Group visited MangoTV’s production facilities, gaining a details understanding of MangoTV Global’s advanced experience in program productionm content innovation, and industry integration. Both sides noted that the on-site visit not only deepened mutual trust but also laid a more solid foundation for launching joint projects in the Middle East.
With the official launch of this strategic cooperation, Ori Group and MangoTV Global will work together to introduce Chinese entertainment content to the Middle Eastern markets, creating a seamless cross-border collaboration chain and building a stronger platform for China–Middle East cultural exchange.
