Recently, the Ministry of Commerce's Department of Trade in Services announced the "List of Key National Cultural Export Enterprises and Projects for 2023-2024," acknowledging 367 enterprises and 115 projects. ORI Animation was once again listed as the Key National Cultural Export Enterprise, making it the only animation company in Suzhou to receive this honor. Since its first selection in 2015, ORI Animation has been recognized for five consecutive terms.

Since 2013, ORI has implemented its "Cultural Export" strategy, establishing partnerships with over 600 media and animation groups across 70 countries. ORI has engaged in a range of international collaborations, including copyright trade, co-productions, talent exchange, and service outsourcing. Over the past decade, ORI has brought Chinese animation to audiences in more than 100 countries and established regional offices in London, Moscow, Riyadh, Los Angeles, and Armenia, solidifying its partnerships with global media, animation, and film organizations.

ORI's creative mission is "to tell Chinese stories that the world can understand and global stories that resonate with China." With this philosophy, ORI has advanced numerous international co-productions. Starting with its first animated co-production, Hakim and Kong Xiaoxi, co-produced with Saudi Arabia in 2014, ORI has partnered with dozens of overseas companies on co-productions. Currently, the company is actively working on several co-productions, including the multinational animated TV series Together and the China-Russia animated feature film One Day.

Since 2018, ORI has been building an international producer collaboration network that includes professionals from the UK, US, Canada, South Korea, and Thailand. This network features talents who contributed to Disney’s latest The Lion King. At the recently concluded MIPCOM in Cannes, ORI presented its co-produced animates TV series Duo Duo, Panda Ming, and animated feature film Hockey King. ORI also plans to present several outstanding Chinese films at the upcoming American Film Market (AFM) in Los Angeles this November, targeting collaborations with world-renowned film companies and media groups.

At the "Sino-Arab Animation Industry Forum" held from August 30 to September 1, ORI served as the executive organizer, aiming to promote pragmatic cooperation in the animation industry between China and Arab States. This event created a new platform for animation exchange and collaboration between the two regions. Previously, ORI initiated the "China Suzhou International Animation Cooperation Summit" in 2015, holding five successful editions. The summit has fostered cultural trade and pioneered new models for bringing Chinese animation to the global market.

ORI’s consecutive recognition as a Key National Cultural Export Enterprise affirms its past achievements and reflects expectations for its future development. The company remains committed to exploring an integrated international development path, expanding cultural exchange and trade, and attracting high-quality global partners to collaborate on cultural products. ORI strives to achieve shared cultural prosperity and growth while adhering to the essence of traditional Chinese culture, sharing Chinese stories, and spreading Chinese culture worldwide. Through continuous innovation, ORI will further contribute to elevating China's cultural industry onto the global stage.
