Ori Animation was Invited to Attend the Sino-Foreign Animation Film Co-production Forum

The 17th Beijing Screenings was held from September 2nd to September 5th, 2013 in Beijing. Founded in 1996, Beijing Screenings has been the only international film screening campaign which invites foreign customers to get-together and watch Chinese films in China. On September 3rd, the first campaign of Sino- Foreign Animation Film Co-production Forum was initiated by the organizing committee of Beijing Screenings. As a representative of the domestic producer, Ori Animation was invited to attend the forum.

The forum this time was hosted by Zhang Xun, chief manager of China Film Co-production Corporation. La Peikang, Deputy Director-general of Film Bureau of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television attended the forum and delivered an official speech. Meanwhile on this forum, executives from seven famous film institutes home and abroad gave speeches and advice on the development of animation films and Sino-foreign cooperation.

The content of how to conduct Sino-foreign animation cooperation and how to integrate the animation film culture home and abroad is specifically illuminative and significant for Ori's overseas development strategy.

The Sino- Foreign Animation Film Co-production Forum was sponsored by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, and executed by the China Film Co-production Corporation. The forum discussed the development of Chinese and foreign animation films and existing problems in cooperation with the attempt to explore the Sino-foreign animation film co-production themes and operation mode in the internationalized trend and promote the all-round communication and cooperation of both Chinese and foreign animation films.
