The “China Suzhou International Animation Cooperation Summit,” initiated by Ori, is an international animation event aimed at promoting cultural trade to facilitate exchanges between Chinese and international cultures. It seeks to forge a new model for China’s animation industry in the global market, transitioning from “exchange and interaction” to a paradigm of “expanding cultural trade for interactive mutual gains,” to effectively promote Chinese cultural products in overseas markets.
Since its inception in 2015, the summit has convened on five occasions, gaining widespread recognition at home and abroad. Drawing participation from more than 300 guests from over 40 countries, the summit has become a renowned international cultural event within China.
Through various forms including one-on-one business negotiations, roundtable meetings, thematic forums, and outcome releases, the summit has promoted the integration and diversification of animation culture.
Participants have deepened their understanding of China's cultural market and fostered connections with peers and friends from different countries. The summit has facilitated overseas cultural enterprises in gaining deeper insights into the Chinese animation and cultural market while assisting Chinese enterprises in international cooperation.
